Explain how parts will join together in drawings for models, furniture components or decorative panels. Do not finalise slot and interlocking dimensions solely from the material's labelled thickness; request a dimensional check using the actual sheet. For repeat production, you can request a sample assessment first.
Confirm your choice of sheet material
Specify the plywood type, thickness and preferred face. Show any important grain direction or surface appearance requirements in the layout. Listing sanding, painting and assembly requirements separately makes clear the condition in which the parts are to be supplied.
