For contract work, we agree at the outset who will supply the material, which operations are required and how the parts will be delivered. Sharing sheet dimensions, thickness and condition before bringing your material helps us prepare.
Tracking revisions for repeat orders
Use the current version of the previous file when reordering a design. Clearly mark changed hole or groove dimensions in the new file; do not give old and new drawings the same name. For jobs requiring sample approval, let’s agree when the production run can begin. The previous job’s lead time is not an automatic commitment for the new order.
What we need for a quotation
- Dimensioned file and measurement units.
- Material type, thickness and part quantities.
- Critical dimensions, visible faces and requests for additional processes.
- Preferred date and delivery method.
