Correct overall dimensions do not guarantee every joint will fit as intended. Mark fits, hole centres and mating faces separately for Sanat CNC’s review. Define the measurement points used for acceptance.
Technical assessment
Cutter diameter, workholding areas and spacing require room in a nest. The sum of net part areas therefore does not directly equal required stock area. Grain or pattern constraints can further limit rotation.
Assess waste from the drawing
A nest based on quantities and stock dimensions is more useful than an area-only estimate. State requirements for returning offcuts and labelling parts in the order.
